Nottingham Forest secure the permanent signing of Jack Hobbs from Hull City.

Jack Hobbs has completed a permanent move to Nottingham Forest from Hull City, signing a four-and-a-half-year deal at the City Ground.

The defender has been at Forest on loan, but has now been allowed to join Billy Davies's side for an undisclosed fee, Hull have confirmed.

Hobbs was previously at Liverpool and joined the Tigers on loan in 2011, before eventually making the move a permanent one.

Forest are fifth in the Championship.
