Hull City's Steve Bruce confirms Aaron McLean interest

Hull City boss Steve Bruce confirms that Barnsley and Blackpool are both interested in signing Aaron McLean.

Hull City boss Steve Bruce has confirmed that Barnsley and Blackpool have both registered an interest in Aaron McLean.

The forward, who is in the final year of his contract, has been made available this summer following Hull's promotion to the Premier League.

"I haven't heard anything personally from (Sheffield Wednesday manager) Dave Jones," Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail.

"But there's been interest from Barnsley and Blackpool for Aaron. If we get the right offer, he can go."

McLean did not travel with the Hull squad for their pre-season tour of Portugal.
