Hull City's Ahmed Elmohamady ready to battle for survival

Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohamady reveals that he is ready to battle until the end of the campaign in order to save his side from relegation to the Championship.

Hull City winger Ahmed Elmohamady is ready to battle alongside his teammates to secure his side's Premier League status in their remaining six matches this season.

Steve Bruce's men are only out of the bottom three on goal difference as they are level on points with 18th-placed Leicester City following a run of six games without a win in the top flight.

The Tigers face a daunting run of fixtures in their attempt to beat the drop, but Elmohamady is adamant that the players are prepared to fight to the end to keep the club in the Premier League.

He told the club's official website: "It's very close at the bottom end now and only goal difference is keeping us out of the bottom three. We want to get away from there as soon as we can and that has to start this weekend.

"We're at a tough time in the season and we want the results to keep our supporters happy. We're well aware of the situation we are in but everybody is thinking positively in terms of getting ourselves out of it.

"I think we are slightly unlucky to find ourselves in this position given what has happened to us throughout the season, but this is where we are and we now want to show that we're better than this. Everybody is talking about us having a tough run-in, but that can be said for everybody. Whoever we're playing, we have to get results."

Hull face Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park later today.
