Hull City manager Steve Bruce admits that he is delighted that the club's fate is in their own hands with two games remaining in the Championship.

Hull City manager Steve Bruce has insisted that he couldn't have asked for more from his side this season.

The Tigers are currently in second position in the Championship table, requiring just one more victory to seal promotion to the Premier League, and Bruce has admitted that his team are in a "great position".

The 52-year-old told Sky Sports News: "It is a fantastic position to be in.

"You come down to two games left and you have a four-point advantage, and when it is in your hands, you can't really ask anything more.

"We have gotten ourselves into a great position, and I hope we can see it off at the weekend."

Hull travel to Oakwell to play Barnsley on Saturday.
