Hull City boss Steve Bruce is fined £10,000 by the FA for post-match comments made about the referee following his side's match against Tottenham.

The Football Association have announced that Hull City manager Steve Bruce has been fined £10,000 for his comments regarding the referee following his side's clash against Tottenham Hotspur.

Bruce was charged by the English governing body last week for criticising the match official during the press conference following Hull's 1-0 defeat to Spurs at White Hart Lane on October 27.

A statement from the FA said: "Hull City manager Steve Bruce has been fined £10,000 and warned as to his future conduct for post-match media comments he made which beached FA Rules."

Bruce admitted the charge.
