Liam Rosenior confident of Hull City progress

Liam Rosenior says that Hull City are confident of beating Trencin in the second leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie this evening.

Hull City defender Liam Rosenior has said that his side are hopeful of winning the second leg of their Europa League third qualifying-round tie against Trencin this evening.

The Tigers were held to a goalless draw in Slovakia last week, but Rosenior remains confident that they can reach the next round with the help of their home support.

"It's a whole different kettle of fish, it's going to be a new experience for us and a new experience for them," The Guardian quotes him as saying.

"It will be a full house here and it's fantastic from the club to lower the prices, especially in the summer holidays so kids can come and see their team play for the first time in Europe.

"We know what a big occasion it is and we're going to make sure we get the victory that puts us through to the next round."

Hull are playing in Europe for the first time, having booked their place by reaching last season's FA Cup final.
