Gillingham have completed the signing of free agent Craig Fagan on a short-term contract.

The 30-year-old, who has been without a club since leaving Bury at the end of last season, will remain with the Gills until January 4, with the option of an extension.

Fagan will once more link up with Gills boss Peter Taylor, whom he played under when the two were at Hull City.

The experienced forward, who started his senior career with Birmingham City, has also played for Colchester United, Derby County and Bradford City.
