Felix Magath remains confident of Fulham survival

Felix Magath still thinks that Fulham are able to survive in the Premier League this season, despite sitting bottom with 10 to play.

Fulham manager Felix Magath has insisted that his side are still able to survive in the Premier League this season and that one win will breed confidence in his squad.

Magath takes his side to Cardiff City on Saturday for a clash between the bottom two sides, but said that the match was less critical than some of the remaining home games.

"The best confidence you can get is if you win," he told reporters in his pre-match press conference. "We need a win for ourselves, for our confidence.

"We have a good schedule for the last few weeks. Everybody knows that and everyone sleeps well with this knowledge. It's an away game, so in our situation you have to take care of the home games."

Magath has overseen a draw and a defeat in his first two games in charge of Fulham.
