Jamie O'Hara eyeing promotion with Fulham

Jamie O'Hara claims that new club Fulham are capable of winning promotion back to the Premier League next season.

Jamie O'Hara has revealed that he is hoping to achieve promotion to the Premier League with new club Fulham.

The midfielder, 28, recently joined the Cottagers on a free transfer following his release by Blackpool.

Despite finishing last season in 17th place in the table, O'Hara believes that Fulham have a squad that is capable of challenging for at least the Championship playoffs.

"This is a massive opportunity to push on again," he told the club's official website. "We've got a great squad of players and you need everyone to get promoted. Hopefully I'll be involved and be a big part.

"On and off the pitch, I'll try and help the young players. Hopefully I can be an influence in the dressing room and help get this club back to where it deserves to be."

Fulham start the new Championship campaign with a trip to Cardiff City on August 8.
