Fulham captain Brede Hangeland says that the squad enjoyed the first pre-season training session of the summer earlier today.

Brede Hangeland has said that the first day of pre-season training with Fulham was "very good".

The squad took part in its first session in preparation for the 2013-14 Premier League season this morning.

The club's captain told their official website: "It's very good to be back and it's nice to be with the boys again. I think everyone has had a good break so we're ready to go again.

"It's nice weather so it was a great day to start pre-season. I think everyone enjoyed it, it wasn't too hard so we were easing ourselves back into it and everyone looked fit and happy, so everything's good.

"We were using the new training gear today and everyone was really pleased with it so we look forward to training in it throughout the season and, of course, we're keen to try out the new Home Kit in the upcoming matches as it looks and feels great."

Fulham head to Costa Rica for a series of pre-season fixtures next week.
