Fulham have qualified for Europa on the merit of their UEFA Fair Play league ranking.
England had been granted an extra place in the European competition earlier this month for the team at the top of the rankings.
With table-toppers Chelsea already in Europe, the position was likely to fall to second-placed Fulham, trailed by Blackpool and West Ham.
Although Fulham’s participation had appeared secure before Sunday, Zoltan Gera’s sending-off against Arsenal had allowed Blackpool to hope they might enter the tournament.
