Fulham likely to take extra Europa League spot

England is awarded an additional place in the Europa League for next season.

England have been awarded an extra place in next season's Europa League, UEFA has confirmed.

Fulham are the likely beneficiary of the spot, which has come about through the UEFA Respect Fair Play ranking.

The Cottagers are top of the Premiership's domestic fair play table and are the only team not to incur a red card this season.

Blackpool are also in contention for the place, with 52 disciplinary points versus Fulham's 50.
