Preview: France vs. Denmark

Sports Mole previews the friendly between France and Denmark in Paris.

France head into their friendly with Denmark looking to return to winning ways after Thursday's 3-1 defeat to Brazil.

Didier Deschamps's side had opened an early advantage against the five-time World Cup winners, but three goals in the final 50 minutes of the fixture condemned Les Bleus to a home setback.

In general their recent form has been shaky, with a draw with Albania being followed by a narrow victory over Sweden, but with no competitive games until Euro 2016, Deschamps needs to make the most of his friendlies.

Changes to the team are likely to occur for Sunday's game, with Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma potentially being handed a full debut after an impressive first campaign at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal duo Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud could also come into the side, while Sevilla left-back Benoit Tremoulinas is in contention for just his third appearance.

Having had an extra 24 hours to prepare after their 3-2 victory over the United States, Denmark head coach Morten Olsen is likely to name his strongest side for the trip to Paris.

Nicklas Bendtner, who netted a hat-trick on Wednesday night, should lead the attack, while Christian Eriksen is expected to feature for longer than the 45 minutes that he played in midweek.

Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, who has spent the first three months of 2015 on the sidelines with a foot injury, could be handed some minutes at some stage in the match.

Denmark currently top their Euro 2016 qualifying group ahead of Portugal and Serbia, but they haven't kept a clean sheet in their last seven fixtures.
