Former France boss Raymond Domenech: 'We'll show we're not afraid of terrorists'

Ex-France boss Raymond Domenech says that tonight's friendly against England at Wembley shows that they are "not afraid" following last week's terrorist attacks in Paris.

Former France manager Raymond Domenech has claimed that tonight's international friendly between England and Les Bleus at Wembley shows that the world is "not afraid" of the recent terrorist attacks in Paris.

Both teams will pay tribute to the 129 people who died when suicide bombers struck six separate locations in the French capital on Friday night.

Three of the bombers blew themselves up outside of the Stade de France, where Didier Deschamps's side were playing Germany in a friendly match.

Tonight, a minute's silence will be held for the victims, while both sets of fans are expected to sing the national anthem 'La Marseillaise'.

"It's important because we have to show that we're not afraid at all by what happened," Domenech told BBC Sport. "Life is continuing, we can't stop.

"It's solidarity if the English sing 'La Marseillaise', it's a big victory for democracy, for people to see that sport can join more than anything else."

Lassana Diarra will be part of the squad this evening after learning that his cousin Asta Diakite was one of the fatalities in the tragedy.
