Augsburg earn a vital win in their battle against relegation in the Bundesliga with a 3-2 victory at Dusseldorf.

Augsburg have earned three important points in their battle against relegation from the Bundesliga with a 3-2 win at Fortuna Dusseldorf.

Goals from Sascha Molders and Ja Cheol Koo in the final five minutes of the first half gave the visitors a comfortable lead at the break.

It was 3-0 in the 70th minute when Molders tapped in following a disastrous fumble from Dusseldorf goalkeeper Fabian Giefer.

The hosts pulled a goal back soon after through Stefan Reisinger before the winger added another in injury time.

However, Augsburg held on to move themselves to within a point of 16th place.
