Zoltan Gera joins Hungarian outfit Ferencvaros

Former West Bromwich Albion and Fulham player Zoltan Gera returns to his native Hungary.

Zoltan Gera has joined Hungarian side Ferencvaros on a free transfer.

The 35-year-old returns to his native country after being released by West Bromwich Albion at the end of last season.

Gera had offers from Championship sides to extend his stay in England, but opted for a second spell with Ferencvaros, Sky Sports News reports.

The Hungary international previously played for the club between 2000 and 2004.
