Evian TG midfielder Cedric Barbosa has insisted that his side have learned a lot from the recent defeat to Bordeaux in Ligue 1, which will help them in Friday night's Coupe de France final.

Barbosa admitted that Bordeaux would be favourites for the clash, but said that his side stand a good chance of causing an upset.

"Perhaps there was some good in the Bordeaux defeat because we now know what we should not do," Barbosa told reporters.

"They have more experience but it's a final and there are upsets. The proof is that we did it in the quarter-finals against Paris Saint-Germain."

Evian have never won the trophy, while Bordeaux have been victorious on three occasions.
