Apostolos Vellios bids Everton goodbye?

Everton striker Apostolos Vellios hints that he is leaving the club with an apparent farewell message on Twitter.

Everton striker Apostolos Vellios has sparked speculation about his future with a Twitter post that appears to be a farewell message to the club.

The Greek forward, who has spent the latter part of the season on loan at Blackpool, thanked former manager David Moyes and the team's supporters in his apparent goodbye tweet.

"Thank you for everything Mr David Moyes," he wrote on the social network.

"I would like to thank you Everton for these [three-and-a-half] years of my life, but most of all a big thanks to Evertonians. You will always be in my heart."

Vellios joined Everton from Greek outfit Iraklis in 2011 and has scored three goals during his time in English football.
