Team News: Several changes for Newcastle United, Everton

Newcastle United and Everton both make a series of changes for their clash at St James' Park, where Arouna Kone makes his first Premier League start for the Toffees.

Newcastle United have made three changes ahead of this afternoon's Premier League clash against Everton at St James' Park.

Defender Mike Williamson, midfielder Cheick Tiote and striker Papiss Cisse come into the Magpies starting XI for Steven Taylor, Vurnon Anita and Adam Armstrong.

Meanwhile, Toffees manager Roberto Martinez has made seven changes to the side that lost at home to Stoke City on Boxing Day.

Goalkeeper Joel Robles, Sylvain Distin, Antolin Alcaraz, Luke Garbutt, Aiden McGeady, Samuel Eto'o and Arouna Kone, who makes his first Premier League start for Everton, all come into the visiting lineup.
