Roberto Martinez loses his first game in charge of Everton as the Premier League club go down 2-1 against Austria Vienna at the Franz Horr Stadium.

Roberto Martinez has lost his first game in charge of Everton as the Premier League club were beaten 2-1 by Austria Vienna at the Franz Horr Stadium in a pre-season friendly.

The Austrians took the lead on 13 minutes when Marko Stankovic rounded Joel Robles before slotting in.

They then doubled their advantage on 37 minutes as Stankovic converted from the penalty spot.

Everton pulled a goal back almost instantly through Apostolos Vellios, but they were unable to find an equaliser in the second half.
