Everton fan waits 30 years for cancelled game

An Everton fan waits 30 years to see his team play live, only for the game to be cancelled.

An Everton fan who waited 30 years to see his first live match was left disappointed when the game against Crystal Palace was called off.

The match was postponed following severe weather conditions.


The man, from Malaysia, was sought by the club after they heard about the story on Twitter and they arranged for him to meet Roberto Martinez and the players.

There has yet to be a date set for the replay.
