Everton fans fly banner calling for Bill Kenwright's resignation

Everton supporter groups fly a banner above St Mary's calling for chairman Bill Kenwright's resignation.

Disgruntled Everton supporters hired a plane to fly over St Mary's Stadium during the Toffees' clash with Southampton this afternoon, trailing a banner calling for the resignation of chairman Bill Kenwright.

Several Everton fan groups got together to show their dissatisfaction with the club's current regime, as the banner read: "Kenwright and Co - #TimeToGo NSNO".

The protest comes after what the Everton fan groups describe as a 'lack of director investment, an unsatisfactory business model' and 'lack of transfer funds to invest in the playing squad', according to Sky Sports News.

Everton beat the Saints 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.
