David Moyes is reportedly open to making a return to Everton as speculation persists regarding the future of Marco Silva.

David Moyes is reportedly open to taking on a second spell at Everton should Marco Silva be removed from his position at Goodison Park.

Despite being allowed to spend big money during his time with the Toffees, Silva has witnessed his team suffer four successive defeats in the Premier League, leaving the club in the relegation zone.

The Portuguese is now regarded as the favourite to be sacked next, leading to speculation regarding a potential replacement.

At a time when odds on Moyes have shortened with bookmakers, The Mirror suggests that the Scot would be happy to discuss a second spell on Merseyside.

Before going on to manage Manchester United, Real Sociedad and West Ham United, Moyes enjoyed a successful period with Everton between 2002 and 2013.

The 56-year-old has been out of management since failing to land a long-term contract with West Ham last summer.
