Roberto Martinez: 'Three wins will clinch Champions League for Everton'

Everton manager Roberto Martinez believes that three victories will earn Champions League qualification for the Merseyside outfit.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez believes that if his side win all of their remaining Premier League fixtures, they will beat Arsenal to Champions League qualification.

The race for fourth place is no longer in Everton's hands as Arsenal reside one point above them with both clubs having three games left to play.

The Toffees will face Southampton, Manchester City and Hull City in their last three matches, while Arsenal will take on Newcastle United, West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City.

"I think if we win our remaining games we will make the Champions League," Martinez said in Thursday's press conference. "Since the Premier League started, the fourth place is won with well below 76 points.

"Only in one season have you needed that. If we win three games and reach 76 and don't get in the Champions League, we can be very, very happy."

Everton are currently on 69 points.
