Team News: Roy Hodgson confirms experimental side

Roy Hodgson names an experimental England side for the team's friendly match against Ecuador.

Roy Hodgson has stuck by his plans to name an experimental side for England's international friendly against Ecuador this evening.

Ben Foster takes over from Joe Hart in goal, while James Milner drops into defence for the Three Lions, and Jon Flanagan could make his international debut if he comes off the bench during the match.

Frank Lampard, who captains the side, is alongside Jack Wilshere and Wayne Rooney in midfield, while Rickie Lambert is the sole striker in the starting lineup.

Antonio Valencia starts in midfield for Ecuador, while Felipe Caicedo and Enner Valencia lead the attack.

Ecuador: Banguera, Guagua, Erazo, Paredes, Walter Ayovi, Noboa, Montero, Antonio Valencia, Gruezo, Caicedo, Enner Valencia
Subs: Bone, Achilier, Ibarra, Mendez, Bagui, Saritama, Martinez, Rojas, Mina, Jaime Ayovi

England: Foster, Milner, Shaw, Jones, Smalling, Lampard, Wilshere, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Barkley, Rooney, Lambert
Subs: Forster, Henderson, Sterling, Welbeck, Lallana, Flanagan, Stones
