Frank Lampard is confirmed as England's captain for the game against Chile on Friday night at Wembley.

Frank Lampard has been confirmed as England captain against Chile on Friday evening.

Steven Gerrard, who usually wears the armband for England, will miss the game at Wembley due to a hip injury.

Chelsea midfielder Lampard won his 100th cap against Ukraine in September and the 35-year-old will receive a golden cap from the Football Association to commemorate the achievement.

Lampard's daughters, Luna and Isla, will be mascots for the match.
