Roy Hodgson has admitted that he intends to use November's friendly fixtures to determine just how strong England currently are.
The Three Lions will head to next summer's European Championships in France with a 100% qualification record to their name.
Many have dismissed this perfect run of form due to the nature of the opposition, however, with tougher tests against Spain and France to come next month, before a meeting against Germany next year.
"I can't fault anyone tonight - a good performance, dominant, and a nice way to end the qualifying campaign," Hodgson is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
"We will use the upcoming friendlies to learn, to see where we are. If we concentrate and play properly we can do well.
"It would have been a surprise if we had not qualified. But the upcoming friendlies are better, stronger opposition sides. We'll see how we deal with that."
England's last defeat of any sort came against Uruguay at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
