Chelsea full-back Ashley Cole is not given an award at Wembley to mark his 100th appearance for England against Brazil.

Ashley Cole was not presented with an award to mark his 100th appearance for England prior to tonight's friendly match against Brazil.

Captain Steven Gerrard, who surpassed the three-figure mark last time out against Sweden, was given a golden cap to honour his achievement by former England goalkeeper Peter Shilton before the match got started.

However, Cole's feat appeared to go unnoticed and the Chelsea defender was not handed an accolade.

As yet, no reason has been confirmed as to why that happened.
