England deny problems with Euro base

England managing director Adrian Bevington has hit out at "predictable" newspaper reports claiming that the Three Lions' training base in Poland is unfit for use.

England managing director Adrian Bevington has assured that the club's training base in Poland for next year's European Championships is satisfactory.

Reports from The Sun claimed that the training facility, used by Poland's fourth division side Hutnik Nowa Huta, was unfit for the Three Lions to use.

Despite the base not being up to scratch, Bevington has been quick to refute claims that the facility will not be ready for England's use next summer.

"We have pitch specialist company who work with Fifa and Uefa working on our training pitch - it will be fine," Bevington wrote on Twitter.

"Pre-tournament base camp scare story in Sun today. V predictable. Training pitch isn't good but will be in June."

England discovered that they would face France, Ukraine and Sweden in Group D of the initial stages of the Euro 2012 finals.
