La Liga outfit Elche have reportedly identified Blackburn Rovers forward Ruben Rochina as their number one transfer target this summer.
The 22-year-old, who spent the second part of last season on loan at Real Zaragoza, is currently back training with the Championship outfit.
However, according to Sky Sports News, Elche are interested in acquiring the former Barcelona attacker ahead of their La Liga campaign.
A source close to the player has confirmed that Rochina would be interested in the move: "Ruben is interested in a move back to Spain if he is not going to figure for Blackburn next season and Elche are an attractive option as they are back in La Liga."
It is understood that Rochina would favour a move to Spain over a transfer to another English club.
