Barcelona and Real Madrid meet once again for another instalment of El Clasico. Stay tuned with Sports Mole to find out which of the rivals reaches the Copa del Rey semi-final.

Good evening and welcome to Sports Mole's live commentary for this evening's Copa del Rey quarter-final second leg between Spanish rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid.

So, who's bored of El Clasico yet then? Nope, us neither!

Pep Guardiola's Barca are the firm favourites to progress through to the semi-finals this evening, thanks largely to the fact that they hold a 2-1 advantage from the first leg.

However, if anybody is capable of masterminding such a comeback, it is surely Real's coach Jose Mourinho.

What is about to unfold over the next 90 minutes is anybody's guess. Stay tuned with us for all the action from the Nou Camp.

00min: We've just seen video footage of the Spanish players from both teams slapping each other on the back, with smiles all round in the tunnel. How long will that last?

01min: We're off and running in the Nou Camp. Madrid must win the match by scoring at least two goals! Game on.

01min: AMAZING start and Madrid should be a goal to the good within 11 seconds. Gerard Pique is too casual and is robbed by Gonzalo Higuain, who shoots horribly wide from close range. One feels Real may rue that miss.

02min: To make matters worse for the visitors, Cristiano Ronaldo (their goalscorer in the first leg) is limping following a challenge.

03min: Pique's evening goes from bad to worse. His handball is penalised and allows Xabi Alonso to whip in a free kick. Higuain is on the end of it but Pinto denies him when the goal looked to be gaping. Great start for Los Blancos, but no goals. They should already be in front in this tie.

06min: Barcelona finally get hold off the ball, toying with the Real defence in their stylish manner. However, Iker Casillas comes out of his goal to stop Lionel Messi advancing and the move breaks down.

07min: ANOTHER chance for Madrid. This time Ronaldo races through but shoots wide while under pressure from Dani Alves. Madrid have been impressive so far, but goals win football matches.

09min: Alexis Sanchez steals a march on the Madrid defence but he is unable to get control of the ball and Casillas claims the ball.

11min: Yet again Madrid create a good chance but once again they are wasteful. Kaka shows the form he displayed at AC Milan to feed Ronaldo who delays his shot and Pinto is on hand to parry wide. Madrid could, and perhaps should, have three goals by now.

14min: First real sight of goal for Barca. Cesc Fabregas breaks clear and squares for Messi who takes on touch before curling his effort wide of goal.

17min: After Madrid's explosive start, the tie has calmed down a little. Madrid are still the better side, but Barca have shored things up at the backing for the time being at least.

20min: Madrid win a free kick and a corner which come to nothing. Ronaldo also tries a speculative effort from distance, which fizzes over the bar. Can't help but feel Madrid need a goal soon or they will be made to pay.

23min: Barca skipper Carles Puyol finally gets some noise out of the home faithful with a surging run forward. However, the defender's route is blocked on the edge of the area by Sergio Ramos.

24min: It took 24 minutes, but Messi has been the victim of his first foul! Fabio Coentrao was the offender, hacking down the Argentine on the right wing. The resultant free kick is wasted by Messi.

25min: Mesut Ozil hits the crossbar for Real Madrid! The German international strikes a shot from 30 yards which bounces safe courtesy of both bar and post. How unlucky for the pint-sized midfielder. Pinto was well beaten there.

26min: To make matters worse, Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra is the first player to be cautioned. There is long way to go for the former Chelsea and Arsenal man to avoid a second booking.

27min: Mourinho must be pulling his grey locks out here. Barca goalkeeper gives the ball straight to Higuain who strikes his shot straight at the shot-stopper. Awful effort!

29min: Barca are forced into an early substitution, with Andres Iniesta being forced off with an arm injury. Pedro comes on to take his place.

31min: Ozil is currently at the centre of everything good Madrid are doing at the moment. The midfielder looks like he could slot into Barca's engine room quite easily.

32min: Ramos goes into the book for a verbal attack on the referee. The defender was arguing a foul that had been given against teammate Ronaldo. In fairness, the contact was minimal at best.

35min: Barca finally get their slick passing game in motion, which almost ends in a goal for Sanchez. Xavi threads the ball through but the Chilean international's effort is deflected wide by Pepe. Speaking of whom, the Portuguese decides now is the time to play act as he falls to floor with nobody near him.

38min: Every time our friend Pepe gets the ball, the noise level inside the Nou Camp rises dramatically. The defender's every touch is jeered.

40min: Cannot remember the last time Guardiola looked so agitated on the touchline. His team have been outplayed for 40 minutes and is facial expressions show it.

43min: GOAL! BARCA 1-0 MADRID - PEDRO: This had an air of inevitability about it! All those chances wasted and Madrid find themselves a goal down. Messi loops a pass to Pedro who sends a half-volley inside Casillas's near post. That could have sealed it.

45min: Messi exacts some revenge on Pepe with a little trip. Madrid's number three rolls on the floor four times and Messi is booked for his trouble.

Stoppage time: Diarra is a lucky boy there! He brings down Messi on the edge of the area but the referee resists the temptation to send off the Frenchman. Barca are unhappy and let the official know. Players from both teams wade in, resulting in a booking for Casillas.

Stoppage time GOAL! BARCA 2-0 MADRID - ALVES: What a strike! The resultant free kick works it way to right-back Alves, who unleashes a stunning strike into the top right hand corner of the net. Unstoppable.

HALF TIME: How are Barca winning this 2-0?! We have absolutely no idea but the fact of the matter is they are. We did say that Madrid would pay for the failings in front of goal and they have emphatically.

Elsewhere: Liverpool advance to the final of the Carling Cup at the expense of Manchester City, while Napoli win 2-0 in the Italian Cup against Inter Milan.

Second half underway We're back at the Nou Camp. Surely there is no way back for Real now?

48min: Barca start the half in dominate mood, finding each other with crisp passes. It could be a long half for the visitors from the capital.

50min: Messi jinks his way through before being brought down by Ramos on the edge of the area. Messi, Xavi and Alves stand over the ball ... Xavi steps up but fires well over.

52min: Esteban Granero comes on to replace Diarra, who was very fortunate to still be on the pitch.

53min Madrid thought they were back in tie! Ramos heads in Alonso's free kick but the defender is penalised for a foul on Alves. Madrid players surround the referee but he is not changing his mind.

55min: Pepe is down on the deck AGAIN! This time Cesc Fabregas catches him late on the ankle.

58min: An update on Iniesta's condition has revealed that he has suffered a slight tear to his hamstring. Could face around four weeks on the sidelines now.

60min: Two changes for Madrid sees Higuain and Kaka leave the pitch to be replaced by Jose Callejon and Karim Benzema.

63min: The last two or three minutes have looked like a training match for Barca. The home side have kept the ball with relative ease, while Madrid chase shadows.

65min: Madrid full-back Alvaro Arbeloa crosses for Callejon but the youngster misjudges his jump and Pinto scoops up the ball. Yet another chance goes begging.

68min GOAL! BARCA 2-1 MADRID - RONALDO: A glimmer of hope for Madrid? Ozil threads through a pass to Ronaldo, who calmly rounds Pinto and slots the ball into an unguarded net. If they can find another goal soon we really will have a game on our hands.

70min: Barca make a change which sees Thiago enter the fray in place of Fabregas.

71min: GOAL! BARCA 2-2 MADRID - BENZEMA: In the words of Ray Wilkins: "My word!" Substitute Benzema lifts the ball over Puyol before regaining his composure to fire a shot past Pinto from ten yards. One more goal and Mourinho's men will be in the semi-finals! Who'd have thought that at half time?

75min: A decent chance for Ronaldo to claim his second. Ozil skips past Eric Abidal and cuts the ball back for Ronaldo. However, the attackers kicks at fresh air.

76min: Ozil is proving to be a thorn in the Barca side at the moment. He beats Abidal again but his effort is deflected wide by Puyol.

78min: Barca had strong claims for a penalty turned down there. Pepe steps across Sanchez as he bares down on goal but the referee waves away the protests. Sanchez fails to recover from the challenge and is replaced by Javier Mascherano.

81min: Free kick in a dangerous position for Barca after Coentrao brings down Messi ... The Argentine dusts himself down to take the kick but shoots over.

84min: Messi almost seals the tie for Barca but his drilled effort grazes the post on it's way wide. So close.

86min: Ronaldo rises highest to meet Ozil's corner but his header drifts harmlessly wide. It's a bit like basketball at the moment - you attack, we attack. This game really could go either way!

88min RED CARD - RAMOS (MADRID): Very poor decision from the referee sees Ramos handed a second yellow for a challenge on Sergio Busquets. Ramos barely made contact with his international colleague but nevertheless he is off for an early bath.

90min: Pedro spurns a good chance to seal the match for Barca when he heads straight at Casillas. Three minutes of time added on to be played.

91min: It took 91 minutes but Pepe finally gets himself booked for a late challenge on Alves! Shocking thinking from Pepe as Barca understandably take their time over the free kick.

FULL TIME - BARCA 2-2 MADRID - (Barca win 4-3 aggregate): Madrid may have deserved so much more but they have been punished for the failure to convert a host of chances. Barca will play either Valencia or Levante in the semi-final.
