Honours even between East Fife, Stenhousemuir at Bayview Stadium

Alan Lithgow heads home to cancel out Ross Brown's earlier goal in a 1-1 draw between East Fife and Stenhousemuir in the Scottish League One playoffs.

East Fife and Stenhousemuir have it all to play for in the reverse tie of their Scottish League One playoff semi-final, having played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg this evening.

The Warriors finished ninth in the League Two table this season, meaning that they are fighting to keep their place in the third tier of Scottish football, while Gary Naysmith's side are seeking a route out of the division below.

Just three minutes had elapsed before Ross Brown had the ball in the back of the net to open the scoring for the home side, giving them a key lead in the tie which they struggled to keep a hold of.

Alan Lithgow headed home an equaliser on the hour for a Stenhousemuir side now winless in nine, but neither side were able to find a winning goal.

The second leg will take place at Ochilview Park on Saturday afternoon.
