Derby County plan talks with West Brom over permanent George Thorne deal?

Derby County are reportedly planning to hold talks with West Bromwich Albion about permanently signing George Thorne.

Derby County are reportedly determined to go ahead with plans to secure West Bromwich Albion midfielder George Thorne on a permanent deal.

Rams manager Steve McLaren recently revealed that he wants to keep his loan stars, including Patrick Bamford and Andre Wisdom, at the club.

According to the Derby Telegraph, the club are planning to contact West Brom regarding the possibility of signing Thorne on a permanent basis after he impressed for the Rams in the Championship last season.

In January, the 21-year-old signed a new long-term contract with the Baggies.
