A 81st-minute equaliser from David Ball saw Peterborough share the points with Derby County at Pride Park on the final day of the Championship season.
Peterborough started the game well and had the first chance through Lee Tomlin, who burst through the midfield before hitting a 25-yard shot just past the post.
Steve Davies had the home side's first chance on nine minutes, though Paul Jones pulled off a stunning diving save to his left to deny the midfielder.
Soon after, Jones was in action to deny Davies again, producing another fine save to keep out a low free kick from a 30 yards.
Tyrone Barnett hit a volley straight at Derby goalkeeper Adam Legzdins after some good work by Paul Taylor on the by-line to create the chance.
Derby took the lead through Theo Robinson on 22 minutes, guiding home from Tyson's cross from the left hand side.
On 27 minutes, Derby had a shout for a penalty turned down by the referee after Boyd looked as if he has pulled down Tyson. Despite the protests, the referee waved play on.

The second half began in a frantic fashion, with chances being created at either end. McCann and Alcock both saw shots blocked as the game went from end to end.

On 88 minutes, Posh came close to an unlikely winner after Boyd's powerful drive struck the angle of post and crossbar.
The game finished at 1-1, as Derby confirmed a 12th-place finish, while Peterborough ended their season in 18th place.
