Deportivo La Coruna bring in Faycal Fajr from Elche

Moroccan midfielder Faycal Fajr joins Deportivo La Coruna from Elche on a three-year deal.

Deportivo La Coruna have signed Moroccan midfielder Faycal Fajr on a three-year contract.

The 26-year-old represented Elche during the 2014-15 season, but has become the latest player to leave the club after their relegation from La Liga was confirmed.

According to Le Matin, Fajr turned down "several offers" to join Deportivo, with Granada also believed to be strongly interested in the midfielder.

Fajr, who represented Caen for three seasons before moving to Spain, could make his Depor debut in Wednesday's friendly away to Real Oviedo.

The newly-promoted outfit will begin their La Liga campaign at home to David Moyes's Real Sociedad on August 22.
