DC United have defeated Houston Dynamo 2-0 in Major League Soccer, with goals coming either side of half time.
The hosts took the lead just before the half-hour mark following a swift counter-attack, Fabian Espindola lining the ball up for Chris Rolfe to smash home from close range.
DC doubled their advantage in the 63rd minute, and this time it was Rolfe teeing up Espindola for a shot inside the box, allowing the Argentine to find the bottom corner.
Houston were reduced to 10 men in the 90th minute when Brian Ownby was shown a red card for dangerous play, capping off a dismal afternoon for them.
