Crystal Palace boss Ian Holloway is reportedly under pressure to keep his job following his side's back-to-back defeats at the start of the Premier League season.

Holloway has struggled to add quality to his side this summer after guiding them to the top flight following their win in the Championship playoff final last season.

Palace chiefs are considering a potential move for Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew should he leave the Magpies and the club's struggles continue, reports The People.

The Eagles fell to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Stoke City despite taking the lead through Marouane Chamakh.
