Neil Warnock: Crystal Palace "will miss" Mile Jedinak

Crystal Palace "will miss" Mile Jedinak when he leaves for the Asian Cup in January, according to manager Neil Warnock.

Neil Warnock has conceded that his Crystal Palace side "will miss" the influence of Mile Jedinak in January.

The 30-year-old has been one of Palace's most consistent performers since they returned to the Premier League in 2013.

However, the Eagles will be without their skipper early next year because he is due to compete in the Asian Cup with Australia.

"We will miss him. He is the leader of the camp. Everything on and off the field revolves around him. There is the Africa Cup of Nations at about the same time, too, so it will be difficult for a lot of teams in the Premier League in January and February. Mile has been able to push forward more than usual this season, too, and I think he can score more goals," the London Evening Standard quotes Jedinak as saying.

The midfielder joined Palace from Turkish side Genclerbirligi back in 2011.
