Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones is reportedly interested in signing Croatia striker Ivan Klasnic, following the player's release from Bolton Wanderers.

Sheffield Wednesday are said to be planning an offer for Croatia striker Ivan Klasnic.

The 32-year-old is currently available on a free transfer after being released by Bolton Wanderers earlier this week.

Following the Owls' promotion to the Championship, manager Dave Jones is hoping to bring in some more experienced players and he intends to open talks with Klasnic in the near future, according to The Mirror.

Klasnic was Bolton's top scorer this season with nine goals.
