Crawley Town's Pablo Mills and Claude Davis apologise to the club and the supporters for getting involved in a fracas after their side's victory over Bradford City this week.

Crawley Town duo Pablo Mills and Claude Davis have apologised for their actions during the scuffle following the side's victory over Bradford City.

A fight between both sets of players broke out after Crawley's 2-1 win over Bradford at Valley Parade on Tuesday, which prompted charges on both clubs by the Football Association.

Mills said in a statement on the club's official website: "May I offer my most sincere apologises for my inappropriate and unprofessional behaviour at the end of our match with Bradford City on Tuesday evening.

"My actions were wholly unacceptable and inexcusable and it is something I deeply regret. I have been hurting since Tuesday when in reality I should have been proud of another great victory, I am deeply ashamed of what happened.

"My behaviour at Bradford City was not only out of character but totally unacceptable. I am ashamed of my conduct and I would like to place on record my apologies to everyone at Crawley Town Football Club and especially our supporters who should never have had to watch such actions from a player at their club."

Davis added: "I would like to place on record my apologies to my employers and the supporters for my reactive behaviour at the end of our match with Bradford City.

"Throughout my career, from the Premier League to League 2, I have always taken pride that I am recognised and respected for being a hard and fierce competitor but my retaliatory action on Tuesday evening fell way below my personal standards and those expected of me at my proud football club.

"I would like to offer my unreserved apologies to the Directors of Crawley Town Football Club, the supporters, the Gaffer and staff plus my team mates. I have let every single one of them down with my actions."

The League Two club stated that they will not comment further on the incident at this time.
