Cody McDonald returns to his parent club Coventry City following a spell on loan with Gillingham.

League One outfit Coventry City have recalled Cody McDonald from his loan stint at Gillingham.

The 26-year-old had been expected to spend the remainder of the season with the Gills.

However, interim manager Lee Carsley has decided that he would like to have the striker as part of his squad at the Ricoh Arena and he could now be selected for tomorrow's match against Bournemouth.

McDonald scored four goals in seven appearances for Gillingham.
