Steven Pressley: 'Coventry City found another level'

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley says that his players reached another level during their 2-0 win over Colchester United this afternoon.

Coventry City manager Steven Pressley has praised his players for reaching "another level" during their 2-0 win over Colchester United today.

Two goals from Callum Wilson ensured that the Sky Blues claimed all three points at the Sixfields Stadium this afternoon.

The manager told Coventry's official website: "I have said to the players, although you think you have given your lot in the first six games, you can always give more.

They took the game to another level today, a great performance, against a very good Colchester side with a good manager who has done a remarkable job there. So to dominate the game in the way that we did is great praise for our players.

"I just want us to get what we deserve. Often you can dominate a game for long periods and one moment, one lapse, one set-play can throw all your good work out the window and today it didn't."

Despite the result, Coventry remain at the bottom of the League One table.
