AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato expresses his desire to remain in Europe, dismissing reports that he is interested in a return to Brazil.

AC Milan forward Alexandre Pato has distanced himself from reports linking him with a return to Brazil.

The 22-year-old, who moved to the San Siro from Internacional in 2007, has reportedly been targeted by his former club as well as Corinthians.

Pato has also been lined up by Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain and he admits that his intention is to stay in Europe for the foreseeable future.

"I just want to make the most of my European career at this point," he told Terra. "Some Brazilian players remain in Europe for about 10 to 12 years. I would be 27 if I return after 10 years here.

"Who knows whether I will then return to Brazil. You never know what will happen in the future.

"I can only thank the clubs that have approached my agent. I just have to do my thing on the pitch."

The 19-time Brazil international is under contract with Milan for another two years.
