Granada hold a slender advantage after a 1-0 win against Cordoba in the first leg of their Copa del Rey tie this evening.

The home side had the visitors under pressure for much of the early period and Jhon Cordoba gave Granada the lead on 25 minutes with a smart finish.

Cordoba then almost extended his tally shortly before the break but his half-volley was well saved by Mikel Saizar.

After the break, the lively Cordoba was inches away from getting on the end of Allan Nyom's low cross before Juan Carlos went close with a powerful effort on 67 minutes.

Cordoba's task was made all the more difficult when Patrick Ekeng was given his second yellow card with 20 minutes remaining
