Pablo Armero: 'It will take whole team to stop Neymar'

Pablo Armero believes that every Colombian player will be needed to prevent Neymar from being at his best for Brazil on Friday night.

Colombia defender Pablo Armero has claimed that it will take every single member of the team to prevent Neymar from causing damage on Friday night.

Brazil will once again be looking to the Barcelona forward to make an impact when they take on their South American rivals in Fortaleza, but Armero is confident that Colombia have the ability to frustrate the 22-year-old in the quarter-final.

"If we're going to nullify the threat posed by Neymar, then everyone in the team will have to lend a helping hand to the players marking him," the 27-year-old told FIFA.com.

"We need to stick together and not lose our focus. We're a compact side, and we know that when we all play for each other we tend to get results."

Neymar has scored four goals in four appearance at this summer's World Cup.
