The Flying Donkeys broke the deadlock at the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi in the 38th minute when Marco Andreolli fired in with his left foot from a close range.

However, four minutes later Gabriele Angella headed home Allan's delivery from the left side of the six-yard box to restore parity for Udinese.

The Bianconeri were reduced to 10 men in the 87th minute when Danilo was sent off for a second bookable offence after conceding a penalty.

Alberto Paloschi stepped up to take the spot kick and made no mistake from 12 yards.

There was yet more drama to come in Verona, as Angella made it 2-2 in the first minute of injury time.
