Andre Schurrle plays down reports linking him with a switch away from Chelsea amid Atletico Madrid's reported interest.

Chelsea winger Andre Schurrle has distanced himself from the speculation linking him with a move to Atletico Madrid.

Reports last week suggested that the La Liga champions had expressed an interest in signing the German ace, but Schurrle, who netted in the Blues' 3-1 win over Burnley on Monday, says that he is staying put.

"No," he told reporters. "I am very happy at Chelsea. This is where I want to play, and this is where I want to play for the fans. There is nothing more to say."

The 23-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Bayer Leverkusen last summer, remains contracted in West London until 2018.
