Report: Tiago to re-join Chelsea

Atletico Madrid midfielder Tiago reportedly agrees to sign for Chelsea for the second time.

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Portuguese midfielder Tiago for the second time.

The 33-year-old will soon become a free agent when his Atletico Madrid contract expires this summer following a four-year spell in the Spanish capital.

According to the Daily Mail, Tiago will complete a move to Stamford Bridge this summer and link up with Jose Mourinho once again.

Mourinho, who signed Tiago in 2004 during his first spell in charge of Chelsea, is reported to be hoping that the 33-year-old's arrival will help Diego Costa settle in at the club if his transfer from Atletico is finalised as expected.

Saul Niguez is expected to be promoted to Atletico's first-team squad when Tiago leaves the club.
