Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino says that talk of Fernando Llorente joining Chelsea is "just a rumour".

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has claimed that Chelsea have not made an offer for forward Fernando Llorente.

During the summer, Spurs and Chelsea went head to head for Llorente, with the Spaniard eventually opting to move to the North London outfit from Swansea City.

However, it has been suggested that Blues head coach Antonio Conte continues to be keen on a reunion with Llorente, a player that he has previously worked with at Juventus.

The report has been described as "just a rumour", however, and Pochettino currently expects the striker to remain at Wembley Stadium.

At a press conference, the 45-year-old said: "That is a rumour. I didn't hear anything official. Nobody said anything to me about it.

"That is just a rumour that I hear from the media, nothing official."

Llorente has made just three starts in the Premier League and Champions League this season.
