Chelsea winger Gael Kakuta hopes that he can secure a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Chelsea winger Gael Kakuta has admitted that he doesn't want to return to Stamford Bridge at the conclusion of his loan spell with Vitesse Arnhem.

Kakuta has enjoyed loan spells with Fulham, Bolton Wanderers and Dijon after failing to establish himself at Chelsea.

The French Under-21 international has featured on a more regular basis during his time in Holland, and he has revealed that has left him striving for more first-team football.

The 21-year-old told The Sun: "I don't dream about Chelsea anymore - I used to, now I know better.

"I hope I can join a club like Vitesse next season, where I can play every week.

"Chelsea have far too many players. At my age I need to play regularly but if I go back I'll just get 10 minutes a month and I don't want that."

The former Lens trainee has made just six Premier League appearances for Chelsea.
